Adopting a dog comes as no small decision for you and your family. Inviting a new (canine) member into your family can be an enormous responsibility, but it can also be very rewarding, as dogs are very loving and loyal animals, and the friendships are always very satisfying. But along with the new dog comes many questions, including what to feed him, how to train him, how much exercise to give him, where to let him sleep, and many other questions related to socializing, diet, and other conduct. There are many great resources, including one interesting book: How To Handle Living With Your Dog, a publication filled with a lot of useful advice on living with your new pet.
This dog book by Short Stack Publishing (home of the How to Handle Series), can explain some of the challenges of dog obedience, dog behaviour, and other dog issues that you may come across when you are familiarizing yourself with your home's new dog.
