Funny Pets

Dog lovers come in all shapes and sizes, and it is curious that there are always comparisons between the dogs and their owners. Maybe how we choose our pets is a sub-conscious decision, and really we are picking out animals that represent our personalities, or maybe our physical traits, which might explain why so many dogs look like their owners (or vice versa).

Whether it's a chubby old man with his scruffy English bulldog, a shaggy-haired teenager with his poofy-maned Komondor, or a long-faced woman with her Doberman Pinscher, there can be many similarities noticed between the dog and the owner.

While it might not be polite to point out to your friend that she looks just like her chihuahua, or her sons look just like a pair of boxers, the canine kind not the fighters, there might just be some cosmic influence that makes us associate better with dogs (or cats?) that look like four-legged representations of ourselves. Is it some anthropomorphic coincidence that your girlfriend's curly locks look similar in colour and texture to her cockerspaniel, Derek? According to science, we aren't that much removed from our animal cousins--don't we share 97% of our DNA with monkeys???

Traveling With Your Pets

Fido Deserves a Trip Too

As the desire to include pets on family vacations continues to grow, many timeshare resorts are now offering pet-friendly accommodation. Pets generally feel most comfortable with a certain level of regularity. Just the way Fido starts to get antsy as you approach the dog park, your pets are able to sense when they're approaching a familiar destination. While animals do tend to get anxious traveling, with timeshares, you and your furry-friend will be returning to a favored locale every year or every other year, which will help to alleviate some of the anxiety he or she might be feeling.

Find the Perfect Pet-Friendly Timeshare

There are several factors you'll want to consider when selecting the perfect resort for you and your pets. In addition to finding a resort within a reasonable vicinity of the sites and activities that you are interested in visiting, you'll also want to ensure that you're centrally located to activities that fit your pets lifestyle.

Consider Your Pet's Lifestyle

If you have a young dog, for example, you might try to secure lodging on or near a beach or lake so he can run, swim and play. Conversely, a timid cat will certainly not feel comfortable rooming next door to a rambunctious pup, so you'll want to inquire with the resort to see if they offer separate floors for different animals.

Don't Forget About Restrictions

Then there are more practical concerns. (Cat owners generally get a free pass in this area.) Before you buy at any pet-friendly timeshare, you'll want to ensure that the resort doesn't impose any weight or breed restrictions that won't be able to accommodate your pet. Some resorts also impose restrictions on the number of pets you can bring with you, so you'll want to inquire here as well.

Rent to Explore a Few Different Resorts

One great way to find the perfect pet-friendly resort is to rent timeshare at a few different locales. Renting is a great way to get to know a few different resorts. You can see how your pet reacts to the resort and its surroundings, and determine if you'd like to buy timeshare there. Once you've found that perfect resort, consider buying resale to save thousands. There are pet-accommodating timeshares for sale all over the world.

Funny Pet Poem
My little funny pet likes to play; Frolicking, scampering, and being cute all day. Playing with yarn and chasing balls; My funny pet is here to stay.
